Terms of Service
The rules for using Beaverton Contractors. Please read them — they include important disclaimers and your consent to be contacted about your request.
Last updated: July 21, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Beaverton Contractors (“Beaverton Contractors”, “we”, “us”), the operator of https://beavertoncontractors.online. By accessing the site, submitting a project request, or creating an account, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What the service is — and is not
Beaverton Contractors is a referral and matching platform serving Beaverton, OR and surrounding areas. We collect the details of your home-improvement project and share them with independent, third-party contractors who may contact you about performing the work.
We are not a contractor, builder, or home-improvement service provider. We do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any work. Any contract for services is made directly between you and the contractor you choose, and we are not a party to it.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the service. By submitting a request you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are the owner of the property concerned or authorized to request work on it.
4. Consent to be contacted
By submitting a project request with your phone number, you expressly consent to be contacted by Beaverton Contractors and by the contractors matched to your request — by phone call, text message (SMS), and email, including calls and texts placed using automated technology — at the number you provided, about your request and related services. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to texts or contacting us at support@beavertoncontractors.online.
5. Contractor screening — no endorsement
We take reasonable steps to verify that contractors in our network hold the licenses and insurance they claim at the time of onboarding. However, license and insurance status can change, and screening is not a guarantee of quality, safety, or fitness. You are responsible for independently verifying any contractor’s current license, insurance, references, and suitability before hiring. State licensing boards provide free license lookups.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide truthful, accurate project and contact information.
- Use the service only to request work you genuinely intend to have performed.
- Do not submit requests on behalf of another person without their authorization.
- Do not use the service to harvest contractor information, spam, or for any unlawful purpose.
7. Fees
The service is free for homeowners. Contractors pay us fees to receive matched requests. This compensation may influence which contractors are matched to your request. You pay contractors directly under whatever terms you agree with them; we never process payment for the underlying work.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY CONTRACTOR WILL CONTACT YOU, OFFER A QUOTE, OR PERFORM WORK, NOR DO WE WARRANT THE QUALITY, SAFETY, LEGALITY, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY WORK PERFORMED BY A CONTRACTOR.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BEAVERTON CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM WORK PERFORMED OR NOT PERFORMED BY ANY CONTRACTOR, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beaverton Contractors and its officers, employees, and agents from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with any contractor.
11. Intellectual property
The site, its design, text, and software are owned by Beaverton Contractors or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse them except as needed to use the service normally.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the service or other users. You may stop using the service, and may request deletion of your account and data, at any time.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may instead pursue an eligible claim in small-claims court.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
